DialRestorations

Why Choose Me?

Some vendors have recently appeared on the Web offering dial restoration services that range from selling cuckoo birds to house calls for mechanical repairs to your clock. If you send your dial to them, how do you know that they don’t farm it out to another dial repair shop? If the restoration takes many weeks, how do you know that your dial isn’t being sent to China for it to be restored? Do their websites describe and show how actual dial restoration work is done, as my site does?

Here’s what I don’t do:

Total strip and repaints of a dial

Clock repair work other than Dial Restoration

Other antique shop related business

Here is what I do, and only what I do:

Clock Dial Restorations is dedicated solely to restoration of painted and silvered dials, with no middlemen involved. Unlike some other sites, I don't call myself a master clock repairer or a "clocksmith". I only restore clock dials. If you choose me you are dealing directly with an actual dial restorer, rather than with a clock dealer or a jack-of-all-trades clock shop. View every page on my website, then compare and decide for yourself. The choice is yours.

I always strive to do professional dial restorations of the highest quality at a reasonable price. If you have questions please contact me at Thymeclock@yahoo.com. I provide free estimates; please click on the tab for estimates to learn more about it.
