This handsome grandfather clock dial by Bailey
Banks & Biddle is heavily engraved. The restoration included resilvering,
application of black wax to the numerals and repainting of the moon dial. The
moon dial was in poor condition with the paint literally falling off of it.
Thousands of chips of missing paint required filling by hand. Despite the
challenges involved, the restoration was accomplished.
